Will SlideTubes Melt in a Blanket Warmer?

To bring everyone up to speed, a warming cabinet stores and warms linens, blankets and in some cases sterile intravenous (IV) fluids. Warming cabinets are crucial in maintaining a patient's body temperature, specifically post-operation.

Warming cabinets perform a single function with flying colors. That is, they keep linens warm. However, Authority Medical Group Slide Tubes are composed of nylon and have a melting temperature of 185 degrees Fahrenheit.

Thus, we do not recommend our Slide Tube device be stored in warming cabinets.
